VALOR PLAYER TO WATCH: QB Arvell Nelson – Nelson has appeared in four games for Washington this season, totaling 959 passing yards (239.8 per game) and 17 passing touchdowns (4.2 per game). This will be the first game he has played against Albany.
EMPIRE PLAYER TO WATCH: WR Joe Hills – Hills enters Week 12 having scored three or more touchdowns in five straight games, including four in consecutive matchups against the Baltimore Brigade. In his last outing against the Valor (May 26), Hill amassed 85 receiving yards and three touchdowns on seven receptions.      Â
MATCHUP TO WATCH: WAS WR Reggie Gray vs. ALB DB Marrio Norman –Gray leads the team in every major receiving category: receptions (59), receiving yards (670) and receiving touchdowns (15). In Friday’s game against Philadelphia, Gray caught seven passes for 62 yards and a touchdown, extending his scoring streak to eight games. Norman leads Albany with 52 total tackles and is coming off a 10-tackle performance that earned him Defensive Player of the Game honors. Â
