14-games; 119 days, and fields that are 50 yards long & 25 yards wide. Fuel-up and bring lots of water—it’s time to hit the road.
STARTING DRIVE NOW.
Avoid roadblocks—Jack Linebacker and Defensive Ends reported ahead. This will slow down your travel. Find alternate route.
HEAD NW TO CLEVELAND.
Put up 175 yards and watch your QB reach the 300 career TD mark (25th player in AFL history to do so). Put Cleveland in your rear-view mirror—this is your one and only stop in Gladiators territory (not complaining).
MAKE A U-TURN SOUTH.
You’ll have to make three separate trips to Tampa Bay (so have sunscreen and shades on hand). First stop, score five TDs with five different receivers. Second trip down; pull into town and have your
WR reach 2,000 career points.
On your last stop, put up 224 yards in the air. Pack up and head back north.
Stop in Philly (cheesesteaks anyone?) then swing around for two big time games in Baltimore to close out the final leg of the trip. By the time you finish up your first season ever, you’ll have rushed 360 yards, thrown for 3,106, and notched 78 TDs.
REROUTING IN 2018.
Almost time to start planning for next season. Looking at packing a few more Ws and have our sights set on putting up yards (and points) in a whole new destination—
